Omaha new construction
Richland Homes in Omaha
Richland Homes is active in several Omaha-area growth corridors, including Westbury Creek in Elkhorn, Chestnut Hills in the Bennington/Elkhorn area, Hills of Aspen Creek in Gretna, and Granite Falls North and Granite Creek in Papillion. Their homes cover a range of ranch, two-story and villa-style options, so the real comparison is which home, lot and neighborhood gives you the best overall fit at the final price.
Current communities
Richland is active across both Douglas and Sarpy County growth areas.
Richland’s current community list includes Westbury Creek in Elkhorn, Chestnut Hills in the Bennington/Elkhorn area, Hills of Aspen Creek in Gretna, and Granite Falls North and Granite Creek in Papillion. The builder also has communities outside the immediate Omaha metro.

Available homes
Richland has both completed and under-construction inventory.
As of September 2026, Richland’s available-home pages show active inventory in Omaha, Elkhorn, Bennington and Papillion, with prices spanning multiple segments of the move-up and new-construction market. Inventory changes constantly, so those listings are a snapshot, not a permanent price guide.

Elkhorn
Current listings include homes around South 212th Street and other west-Elkhorn locations.

Plans and selections
Compare the finished home, not just the floor-plan name.
Richland offers multiple home-plan collections and a selection process that can change the final price and finished product. Two homes using the same basic plan can still differ substantially based on lot, elevation, basement, garage, interior choices and upgrade package.
That is why I compare a Richland home against nearby resale homes and other builders using the total cost and actual features, not marketing labels.
Representation and inspections
New construction still needs independent thinking.
If you want your own agent representing you, involve that agent before you register or start negotiating with the builder. I also recommend treating inspections and walkthroughs as quality-control steps rather than assuming a newly built home is automatically problem-free.
The goal is not to make the process harder. It is to catch the important decisions before they become expensive or permanent.
