Omaha new construction
The Home Company homes in Omaha
The Home Company is a locally rooted Omaha builder established in 2012, with active communities in Bennington, Elkhorn, Gretna, Omaha and Papillion and a model that pairs established floor plans with design personalization. If you are considering one of their homes, I would compare the specific home, lot, included features, design choices, incentives, taxes and future resale position, not just the model or advertised price.
Current footprint
The Home Company has communities across several Omaha-area growth corridors.
As of September 2026, the builder’s community list includes projects in Bennington, Elkhorn, Gretna, Omaha and Papillion, along with additional communities outside the metro. Their current available-home inventory also includes move-in-ready and under-construction homes across several of those areas.
Bennington
Multiple communities and a large share of the builder’s current available inventory.
Elkhorn
Newer west-Omaha options including Arcadia Ridge and current inventory near 209th–214th Street.
Papillion
Several communities and move-in-ready homes across the south-metro growth area.

Design and pricing
The model-home price is not always the number that matters.
The Home Company markets both completed inventory and homes where buyers can make design selections. Their site also promotes a Discovery Collection starting in the $330s. The useful comparison is the realistic finished price after the lot, structural choices, design selections and anything not included.
That is also why I compare a Home Company option against nearby resale homes and other builders at the same all-in budget.
Representation
Get your side of the transaction established early.
If you want your own agent involved, bring that representation into the process before you get deep into model-home registration, lot selection or contract discussions. Builder policies can vary, and it is easier to compare options when your agent is involved from the start.
New construction can be a great fit. The goal is simply to make sure the home, neighborhood and total deal still look good after the model-home excitement wears off.
